August 15-23, 2017 Open trip to Nicaragua

Trip Summary:

nicaragua-1On this trip we will travel to a small town in rural Nicaragua where we will stay and work side-by-side with the community members to build a multi-purpose court for soccer, volleyball, and basketball.   Nicaragua is a safe country with a low crime rate, especially in rural areas.  During this trip we will have an amazing adventure experiencing authentic Nicaraguan culture, food, celebrations, and natural beauty.  We will work hard, play sports, and even make some Nicaraguan friends.  During the whole trip we will be completely immersed in the local culture.  We are looking for volunteers who will be great cultural ambassadors as they are willing to serve a community with great humility and an open and willingness to learn.
