Kaos Krala is a small community located in the beautiful province of Battambang. Kaos Kralas High School, where the court will be built, has 900 students and only 33 teachers. They have recently been able to bring electricity to the school through solar power and because of this, been able to supply clean drinking water, hand washing stations, and additional bathrooms to the school.
Now that the school has clean drinking water they want to expand the school’s physical education. Currently, the only place to play is a dirt area with makeshift goals and is muddy and unusable whenever it rains. By building a court, the kids will always have a place to play!
On the trip, we can also plan a visit to the beautiful and intriguing Angkor Wat, which is the largest religious monument in the world.
